About the Workshop
This 6-day workshop at Lawrence S. Ting School is designed for rising seniors exploring US university options. Students will build academic resumes, explore majors, practice application essay writing (Common App + UC prompts), prepare for interviews, and learn scholarship strategies, all with 1:1 coaching from experienced counselors. Parents are invited to a Saturday morning session on financial planning and application strategies.

Counselor Jay
Director of The Admission Masters and founder of ivygoalcounselor.com. Jay has been empowering students through personalized guidance and strategic application planning for over 16 years in the US, helping students from all around the world navigate the college admissions process.
Sarah Park
Associate Director at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine Caruso Law School. Sarah practiced law in the US and Korea and has worked in publishing and admissions consulting. J.D., Harvard Law School, B.A. Rhetoric, U.C. Berkeley.
Kay Lau
Director of Kay Lau & Associates, specializing in private school admissions for both international and domestic students. She provides strategic guidance to ready students for successful pathways to college. She holds a BS in Economics from UCLA and MBA (Entrepreneurship) from the University of Southern California.
